Okay. Kind of a nothingburger. Haven’t had great luck with this method and I wonder if it’s a question of technique, not achieving the right coarseness, or if these beans aren’t roasted lightly enough. Made another cup with the same recipe for a friend at a grind setting of 7 and they were happy with it but they’re easy to please. 3:15

Good. It’s not bad. You can taste some notes of chocolate in there, but a lot of the deer notes like passionfruit sugarcane I find are quite muted. I’m a little disappointed in not being able to get more out of this coffee, which should be quite good. 3:06

Okay. Still very surprised at how fast this pulls, especially grinding approximately 50 microns finer. Was largely able to maintain around six bars until around the point where this would have been the ratio recommended to me earlier for this coffee, but my mental math failed me in the moment. As far as flavour goes, still not well-versed enough in light roast espresso to know if I did a good job or not. Ending up pouring the last half into a tonic water for fun. Possibly heretical but pretty tasty. 0:50

Flawed. Channelled even with the coarser grind - clearly a more substantial bean than the Habtamu Fikadu which channelled less at a finer setting. Removed dripper at 4:30 even though drawdown had a way to go so as to salvage what did extract. Faint stone fruit under caramelized mess. Somehow hollow. I’d be happy with this at a diner but confused at a café. I’ll try again soon with some changes. 4:30

Superb. Incredible brew today. I should have been using the TH-3s with this geisha the entire time. Glad I’m stocked up now. Knocking down that TBT really boosted the florals even more than previous. Notes have better definition/separation. 2:50
